Obituary for Jan Elaine Morehouse
A graveside service for Jan Elaine Morehouse will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018, at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery with Reverend Shawn Waggoner officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation for Mrs. Morehouse will be held from 1:00 to 1:45 on Friday at Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Mrs. Morehouse was born on October 1, 1954, and passed away on January 22, 2018, at the age of 63. She graduated from Central High School in Rapid City, South Dakota. After joining the Army, she moved to Fort Polk and eventually retired here. Mrs. Morehouse loved her two dogs, Poppi and Buddi.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard Morehouse and her father.
Mrs. Morehouse is survived by her mother, Priscilla Gaiser of South Dakota.
