Obituary for Christina Legg Teska
Funeral services for Christina Louise Legg Teska will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Castor Baptist Church, 2057 Slagle Road Leesville, LA with Bro. Wayne Chance officiating. Burial will follow in Castor Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19th at Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Christi was born July 12, 1973, in Fort Polk, LA and passed away August 13, 2021, in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 48. She had an encouraging spirit and always wanted everyone around her to be happy. No matter how her day had gone, Christi would have a smile for anyone she met. She had a big heart, was goofy and could always make her family and friends smile. People would describe her as giving, helpful, and intelligent.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Legg; grandfather, Jim Stermer; grandmother, Louise DeGeorge; uncle, Jack DeGeorge; cousins, Kelly Chapman, Justin Legg, and Alex Haymon; brother-in-law, Todd Teska; father-in-law, Dave Teska; and father-in-law, Larry Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are . . .her husband of 26 years separated for 8, Chad Teska;
boyfriend, Allen Locke;
daughters, Megan (Donnie) Boudreaux, of Leesville, Keelie Teska of Walker, Alle Teska of Walker;
parents, Kathy and Darrell Legg;
grandmother, Sadie Legg Stermer;
brother, Andrew Legg;
sister, Olivia Legg;
grandchildren, Makynna Averitt, Drake Boudreaux, Zayden Horne, Daulton Boudreaux, and Daxton Boudreaux.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Legg, Donnie Boudreaux, Jody Burge, Clay Shealy, Patrick Cart, and Nathan Smith.
