Obituary for Joan Boswell
A graveside service for Joan Boswell will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at Jeane’s Funeral Service on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Joan was born November 28, 1935, and passed away July 29, 2021, at the age of 85. She lived in Leesville, Louisiana most of her life and served in the United States Army. For many years, Joan served alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife and was a member of East Leesville Baptist Church.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, George Boswell Sr., parents, and siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are her stepson, Randy Boswell and wife Rietha;
grandchildren, Chadwick Boswell and Randolf “Randy” Boswell Jr.
numerous great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
