Obituary for Lorado Wayne Burge
Lorado Wayne Burge wax born January 11, 1939 and passed away August 5, 2020 at the age of 81. He was a lifetime master carpenter and worked overseas for several years in the construction field. For five years, Lorado served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Enterprise. When his health was better, he was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Lorado was preceded in death by his father, Harold Smith; mother, Josephine Renee Burge; sister, Ann Foust; daughter, Cynthis Jane Burge; and son, Wayne Emmanuel Burge.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jody Burge of Leesville, LA and John Burge of Houston, TX,
sister, Jane Bush of DeQuincy, LA,
grandchildren, Wayne “Bubba” Burge, Casey Burge, Ethan Burge, and Kylie Burge,
and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
At the request of Mr. Burge, no service will be held. If you would like to make donations, please do so to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
