Obituary for Bonnie Venetta Jackson Wise
Funeral services for Ms. Bonnie Venetta Jackson Wise will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016, 10:00 AM, at Simpson Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy Blocker officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Island Cemetery under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2016, from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at Simpson Baptist Church. Bonnie Venetta Jackson Wise was born on August 30, 1934, to Jasper and Nancy Jackson in Simpson, LA. She passed away on March 3, 2016 in Leesville, LA at the age of 81. She was a lifelong resident of Simpson, LA, and met and married the love of her life, Charles Wise, at the age of 15. Ms. Bonnie was co-owner of Wise Surveying and was a former school bus driver for Simpson High School. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and had a pioneer spirit. She loved being a homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: James Gentry Jackson and John Claiborne Jackson, and sisters: Zada Jackson Clark and Sadie Jackson Stanly She is survived by her loving spouse of 65 years, Charles Wise of Simpson, LA Sons: Charles Tommy Wise and wife Linda of Leesville, LA, Darrell Wise and wife Susan of Simpson, LA Sister: Lavada Rose Jackson Balsom of Meridianville, AL Grandchildren: Derrick Reed Wise (Alison), Heather Wise Parker (Bubba), Matthew Thomas Wise, and Chelsey Renea Wise (James Johnson) Great-Grandchildren: Cale Dwayne Parker, Colton Lane Parker, Coby Clay Parker, Tristan Lane Johnson, and Taryn Elizabeth Johnson Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com.
