Obituary for Young Soon Hwang Norris
A memorial service for Young Soon Hwang Norris will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2018, at Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Ms. Norris was born on November 11, 1946, and passed away on December 4, 2018, at the age of 72. In 1985, she moved to the Leesville area and for about the past fifteen years has worked in role play for the Cubic Company at Fort Polk. Ms. Norris enjoyed going to church and was a member of the Korean Methodist Church. She also loved to travel and visit the beach.
Ms. Norris was preceded in death by her parents Oh Ill Hwang and Hwang Lee, one brother Hwang In Sung, and two sisters Pil Ip and Song Soon.
Left to cherish their memories of her are her brothers Hwang In Churl, Hwang Yun Suk, Hwang Ta Suk, and Hwang In Gwan; sisters Sun Ah Hwang and In Sun Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
