Obituary for William "Peewee" R. Weldon Jr.
Funeral services for William “Peewee” R. Weldon Jr. will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA, with Reverend Steve Squires officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, 590 Hwy. 392 Hornbeck, LA.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Jeane’s Funeral Service on Friday, June 2nd and again from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
William was born on March 7, 1957, and passed away on May 30, 2017, at the age of 60. He was a lifelong resident of Vernon parish and a member of Fullerton Baptist Church. Peewee loved to hunt, fish, and take care of the animals on his farm. He loved the country life and his family.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William R. Weldon Sr. and Marjorie Gillard; brother, Joey Weldon; and step sister, Ann Abshire.

Mother-in-law: Johnnie Weldon of Pitkin, LA
Sister: Vivian Doyle and husband Wayne of DeRidder, LA
Grandchildren: Allen Weldon of Moss Bluff, LA, Aiden Weldon of Mittie, LA, and Ashton Weldon of Mittie, LA
Pallbearers will be Kyle Johnson, Cody McCullough, Perry Weldon, Jeff Weldon, Allen Weldon, and Eric Draughty.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dalford McCullough and Charles Ray Johnson.
