Obituary for William "Bo" Boyd Paddy Sr.
Funeral services for William “Bo” Boyd Paddy Sr. will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Ricky Jeane officiating. Burial will follow in Brister Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday, January 15th beginning at 6:00 p.m. and will continue until the time of service.
Bo was born August 17, 1942, in Leesville, Louisiana and passed away January 12, 2022, in Alexandria, LA at the age of 79. He was a native of Leesville and worked for many years as a meat cutter at Piggly Wiggly and Stanley’s grocery stores. Bo enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and “supervising” his brothers. Most of all, he loved his family and spent many enjoyable hours watching his grandchildren playing sports. If you knew Bo, then you were blessed to have known a true heart, a genuine smile, and certainly a good story. Armed with a pocketful of peppermints and a smile on his face, Bo made his near daily rounds checking in with his family and friends. He found true companionship with his puppies KK and Buddy, and usually when you saw Bo you saw one of them whether it be in his arms or in his truck.
Bo was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Carol Jeane Paddy; parents, Joseph Kelly Paddy and Eliza Jane Parker Paddy; brothers, Joseph “Buddy” Paddy, Donald Paddy, and Wilbur Paddy; and sister, Doris Harry.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Debbie Walters and husband James of Florien, LA;
son, Boyd Paddy of Leesville, LA;
brothers, Tom Paddy, Floyd Paddy, and Raymond Paddy all of Leesville, LA;
sister, Betty Davis of Leesville, LA
grandchildren, Jason Walters and wife Brandi of Hugo, OK and Heather Comeaux and husband Corey of Leesville, LA;
great grandchildren, Abbie, Dylan, Rylan, Benton, and Bristol;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Paddy, Steven Paddy, Daniel Davis, Justin Harry, Clint Harry and Troy Harry.
