Obituary for William "Bill" Edward Tuck
A graveside service for William “Bill” Edward Tuck will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, in Stephens Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. The pallbearers will be Brandon Lyons, Timothy W. Tuck, James “Jim” Tuck, A.J. Kuzel, Ricky Brumley, and Lynn Jackson. The honorary pallbearers will be William “Bill” Alford, Roy Kim Tuck, Jared Dotson, Shaun Tuck, Matthew Dotson, and Gary Lyons.
A visitation will be held at Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA on Sunday, May 21st from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.
Bill was born October 3, 1936, and passed away May 16, 2023, at the age of 86. He worked in construction as a foreman for many years. After retiring, Bill began a new career as a vendor at flea markets. For several years, he had booths at flea markets in Canton, TX and other surrounding cities. Bill was an avid sportsman who liked to hunt, fish, and camp. Gardening was another one of his outdoor activities, and he enjoyed growing a vegetable garden. His dogs had a special place in his heart.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Roy B. Tuck and Zelma Wilson Tuck Hammett; brother, Judge Roy B. Tuck Jr.; and nephew, Robert “Tittles” Lyons.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30-plus years, Betty Snider Tuck;
daughter, Angela Dotson;
grandchildren, Shaun Tuck, Matthew Dotson, and Jared Dotson;
great-grandchildren, Amley Tuck, Adam Dotson, Zinlee Rhame, and Wyatt Tuck;
sister, Mary Tuck McDaniel;
sister-in-law, Ramona “Pat” Tuck;
stepdaughter, Sherry Culotta and husband Peter Baka;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
