Obituary for William Bill Earl Eaves
Funeral services for William "Bill" Earl Eaves were held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 in Canaan Baptist Church, 19190 Hwy 8, at 2:00 PM. Rev. Morris Goins and Rev. C. W. Dowden will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Canaan Cemetery under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service. Visitation was held on Friday, August 29th, 2014, at 5:00 PM in Canaan Baptist Church in Leesville, LA. Mr. Eaves, 71, of Leesville passed away Friday, August 29th, 2014 in Leesville. He was a life long resident of Vernon Parish and a retired painter having been in the construction business. Also, he drove and owned a taxi cab business for many years. Mr. Eaves was a member of Canaan Baptist Church and preached in the nursing home. He loved watching sports, especially the Saints. Preceding him in death: Daughter - Tina Sue Eaves Brothers - David, Leonard, and Milton Eaves Survivors are his wife of 51 years, Wilma Eaves of Leesville. Son: Richard Earl Eaves of Leesville Daughter: Tammy Renea Eaves Lee of Leesville Sisters: Elois Harvey of Leesville, Peggy Jeane of Leesville, Dorothy Dowden of Pitkin, Wanda Duhon of Grand Prairie, TX, Rebecca Rowland of Vicksburg, MS Grandchildren: Tammy Ochoa, Kristi Coleman, Michael Eaves, Karen Eaves, Nicole Coleman, Robert Coleman Great Grandchildren: Christopher Rea, Jr., Josiah Ochoa, Khloie Ochoa, Crystal Coleman, Aliyah Garza Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com.
