Obituary for Wanda Lee Brister
Services honoring the life of Wanda Lee Switzer Brister of Anacoco, La. will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10 A.M. in the Chapel of Jeane's Funeral Service 100 East Union St., Leesville, La. with Pastor Lorraine Smith and Jerry L. Jeane officiating. Her body will be cremated and buried at a later date. Visitation will start at 5:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Jeane's Funeral Service on Tuesday. Mrs. Brister was born February 10, 1952 in Gladwin, Michigan to John and Jean Hall Switzer. She passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 surrounded by her family at her home at the age of 62 yrs 6 moths and 3 days. She had lived in California for many years but had been a resident of Leesville/Anacoco area for the past 43 years where she was a former packer for American Moving and Storage of Leesville. She like to fish but most of all loved spending time with her family and friends. Preceding her in death was her father: John Oliver Switzer Survivors are her husband of 38 yrs Garry Brister of Anacoco, LA Three Daughters and sons in law: Denise and Hank Beschoner of Simpson, LA Sandy and Timmy Brantley of TX and Jennie and David Dodge of CA. Mother: Jean Switzer of CA. Sisters: Terry and Jackie Switzer of CA. Grandchildren: Justin, Jacob, Jon, Willa, Chris, Dovie, Jerry, Issac, and Nathan
