Obituary for W.L. Bynog SR.
Funeral Services for W.L. Bynog Sr. will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Oak Forest Baptist Church on Hwy 117 Leesville with Rev. Joe Call officiating. Burial will follow in the Glass Window Cemetery in Slagle, La under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will begin on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Oak Forest Baptist Church and remain open until service time on Saturday. Mr. Bynog passed away on Wednesday, Febuary 19, 2014 in Leesville. He was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. A graduate of Leesville High School he worked as a Patrol Supervisor for the Vernon Parish Sheriff office and a School Bus driver until his retirement from both. He love to camp out and trotline on Lake Sam Rayburn and other lakes around the area and playing golf. Survivors are his wife of 60 years June Williams Bynog of Leesville Sons: Darrel and Jerry Bynog of Leesville W. L. Bynog Jr and wife Deborah of Leesville Daughter; Allisa"Lisa" and husband Lynn Cooley of Leesville. Brothers: Elmer, Buddy, F.B. James all of Hicks Sisters: Pearlie Lewis and L.D. Henry of Leesville Audrey Hagan, Connie Harvey and Florine Drake of Hicks and Earline Bennett of Simpson 15 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.
