Obituary for Von Clinton Kay
A graveside service for Von Clinton Kay will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 in Beech Grove Cemetery with Reverend James Kay officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Clinton was born August 12, 1928 in Fairdale, Texas and passed away August 3, 2020 in Burr Ferry, Louisiana just nine days before his 92nd birthday. He enjoyed the great outdoors – hunting, fishing, running trot lines, running deer dogs, and squirrel hunting. He taught his children and grandchildren to love the outdoors too. His family was the most important thing to Clinton. He was a member of Freedom Rest Baptist Church, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in his memory. The church address is 11796 Hwy. 111 Anacoco, LA 71403.
Clinton was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Eunice Kay; parents, Thomas Albert Kay and Elsie McGraw Kay; brothers, A.J. Kay, Leroy Kay, Prentice Kay, and Buford Avon Kay; and sister, L.C. Ramona Harville.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Von S. Kay and wife Georgetta of Evans, LA; William Kay and wife Cindy of Burkeville, TX; Roger Kay of Burkeville, TX; and Michael Kay and wife Helen of Burr Ferry, LA,
