Clinton was born August 12, 1928 in Fairdale, Texas and passed away August 3, 2020 in Burr Ferry, Louisiana just nine days before his 92nd birthday. His family was the most important thing to Clinton. He was a member of Freedom Rest Baptist Church, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in his memory. The church address is 11796 Hwy. 111 Anacoco, LA 71403.
Clinton was preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Eunice Kay; parents, Thomas Albert Kay and Elsie McGraw Kay; brothers, A.J. Kay, Leroy Kay, Prentice Kay, and Buford Avon Kay; and sister, L.C. Ramona Harville.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Von S. Kay and wife Georgetta of Evans, LA; William Kay and wife Cindy of Burkeville, TX; Roger Kay of Burkeville, TX; and Michael Kay and wife Helen of Burr Ferry, LA,
daughters, Vondal Blackmon and husband Roy of Burr Ferry, LA; Ila Darlene Craft and husband Robert of Leesville, LA; Patricia Grogan and husband Keith of St. Angelo, TX; and Sheryl Jarrell and husband Danny of Burkeville, TX,
