Obituary for Victoria "Vickie" Juanita Scott
Rosary and funeral mass for Victoria Juanita Scott will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020, at St. Michael’s The Arch Angel Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 from 9:00AM – 10:00AM at St. Michael’s The Arch Angel Catholic Church.
Victoria Juanita Scott was born on October 23, 1951 in Joiner, AR to Freddie and Juanita Elrod. Vicky was married to the love of her life Thomas Scott for 42 years. They met in Dallas, TX, and she was a 21 year military spouse. They later settled in Vernon Parish, and she worked civil service at Ft. Polk for 27 years. She was the exceptional family member program director and the advocate for military family members with regards to special needs individuals. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and watching old movies. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She loved to go and watch them at their sporting events. She was greatly loved and will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Freddy Elrod, daughter, Denise Scott and grandson, Dylan Scott.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Scott of New Llano, LA
daughters, Vicky Scott Wyrick and husband Cody of The Colony, TX, and Jacquelyn Scott Vargas of Leesville, LA
grandchildren, Joseph Scott, Roy and Baylee Victoria Crouch, Cody and Brody Wyrick, and Gabriel, Christopher and Zachary Vargas
3 great grandchildren
