Obituary for Victoria Elizabeth Ocasio
Funeral services for Victoria Elizabeth Ocasio will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019, at The Church House, 2013 Alexandria Hwy. with Reverend Richard Partridge and Jennifer Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation time for the family and friends of Victoria will be held at The Church House from 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30th until the time of service on Friday.
Victoria was born on August 30, 1990, in Fort Polk, LA and passed away on May 27, 2019, in Houston, TX at the age of 28 after courageously fighting cancer for over a year. She lived all of her life in Vernon Parish and was a 2008 graduate from Hicks High School. For nine years, Victoria worked for the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher. During her free time, she enjoyed shooting guns and bows as well as swimming. Victoria loved her dogs, and everyone she met loved her sweet personality.
Victoria was preceded in death by her mother, Melissa Gay Alexander Ocasio.

father, Marcos “Tony” Antonio Ocasio of Leesville, LA
sisters, Theresa Lynn Ocasio Jones of Hicks, LA; and Angela Rae Ocasio Sayers and husband Christopher of Slagle LA
nieces and nephews, Kirsten Eaves; Aiden Hillman; Rayne Barbee; Soren Jones; Adrian Sayers; and Gabriel Sayers
godson, Patrick Hickman Jr.
and a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Halbert, Ben Hall, Brandon Strickland, Eric Baker, Chris Sayers, and Blake Roy.
Honorary pallbearer will be Patrick Hickman.
