Obituary for Vicki Jo Spencer
Vicki Jo Spencer was born August 23, 1961, in Dallas, Texas and passed away March 22, 2022, in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 60. She was the heart of her home and a loving caregiver to her family and friends. Vicki’s hobbies included talking to her grandchildren, fishing, crocheting, and traveling. Lately, she enjoyed exploring the state of Louisiana with her husband, Tony. Vicki had a nurturing spirit and was always available to help in any way. She would go above and beyond for her family, neighbors, and friends.
Vicki was preceded in death by her son, Preston Andrew Spencer and parents, Jimmy Earl Foster and Joyce Carmen Foster.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 37 years, Tony Spencer of Leesville, LA;
daughter, Paige Cryer and husband Jeremy of Fountain, CO;
daughter-in-law, Amanda Spencer of Tyler, TX;
grandchildren, Faith Cryer and fiancée Dustin of Pueblo, CO, Brianna Mooney and fiancée Austin of Sulphur, LA, Caitlyn Mooney, Jeremy Cryer, and Evangeline Cryer all of Fountain, CO;
great-grandson, Kailen Burgess of Sulphur, LA;
brothers, Mark Foster and wife Kim of Henderson, TX and Bryan Foster and wife Beth of Houston, TX;
extended family members; and numerous friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Vicki’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Jeane’s Funeral Service, 100 E. Union St. Leesville, LA 71446. A visitation time will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Jeane’s.
