Obituary for Velt E Edwards
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a. m. followed with a service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at the G. A. Mangun Center (2817 Rapides Ave.) in Alexandria, Louisiana. Reverend Randy Harper, Reverend Dennis Brown, and Pastor Gentry Mangum will officiate. Please wear a mask in the church building. Interment will be privately held for the family at the Fellowship Cemetery.
Velt Edwards, 69, of Hineston entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 24, 2021 after a battle with cancer.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Karol G. Edwards, two children: Velvet Edwards of Hineston, and James Edwards and his wife Alisha of Alexandria, Louisiana. Grandchildren: Jade, Kaylan, Garrett, and Reuben; sisters: June Parker, Dorthy McCreery, Christine Griffith, and Patsy Gunter.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Reuben Edwards, Garrett Edwards, Jerry Ainsworth, Stacey Davis, Brian Barton, and Lance Carruth.
