Obituary for Troy Wayne Snider
A graveside service for Troy Wayne Snider will be held at 10:00 a.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Troy was born July 23, 1953 in Pasadena, TX and passed away December 9, 2020 in Shreveport, LA at the age of 67. He worked on an oil rig as a derrick hand and was an excellent carpenter. Troy enjoyed staying busy and building things. He also liked to play dominos and chess and spend time with his dog Buddy. His family was the most important thing to him, and Troy cherished his time with them. He loved his wife, Charlene, very much and would always let her know where he was going and when he would be back so she wouldn’t worry.
Troy was preceded in death by his father, B.A. Snider.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Maye Willis,
children, Tanjela Finch (Bryan), Tamela Snider (Nicole), and Beamon Snider (Teresa),
his wife for over 22 years, Charlene Snider,
stepsons, Charlie Alexander (Shelly) and Scooter Alexander (Carmen),
sisters, Peggy Richard (James), Shirley Thomas (Chuck), Patsy Brazil (Larry), Juanita Harvell, and Patricia Lowman,
mother, Alice Snider and birth mother Beatrice Herring,
and grandchildren, Taylor Finch, Taryn Finch, Bristol Snider, Kaylee Snider, Maddox Snider, Karsyn Snider, Dre’ Alexander (Kristen), Lindsey Bennett (Hogen), and Brady Alexander.
Pallbearers will be Beamon Snider, Bryan Finch, Robert Teague, Hubert Teague, James Richard, Chuck Thomas, and Joe Havard.
