Obituary for Tristen Eve Bodie
Funeral services for Tristen Eve Bodie will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Anacoco First Baptist Church with Reverends Johnathan Crist and Allan Hatten officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Visitation for the family and friends of Tristen will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13th at Anacoco First Baptist Church and again from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
Tristen was born on January 25, 2005, and passed away on July 11, 2018, at the age of 13. She was a student at Hornbeck and a member of the Hornbeck basketball team. Tristen enjoyed running, swimming, and shopping. She had many friends and enjoyed spending time with her family. Tristen was full of life and never met a stranger. She would offer a hug to anyone who she thought needed it.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sharon Gale Madeley.

Sisters: Skylar, McKinley, and a special little girl, Gabbie
Grandparents: Gervis Parrott, Lois Parrott, Vonnie Parrott, Tony Vernich, and James Potter Sr. and wife Denise.
She was also survived by extended family and a ton of friends.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Marshall, Dale Parrott, Joey Parrott, Matt Killian, Trinity West, and Billy Don Nugent.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Potter and Jerry Bodie.
