Obituary for Tommy "T-Man" Lynn Bailey Sr.
Tommy Lynn Bailey was born August 29, 1955, in Leesville, Louisiana to Riley Albert Bailey and Vivian Rae Brack Bailey. He passed away from this life February 20, 2023.
He was a sandblaster/painter and spent most of his work life working offshore. He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off of his back to help anyone he could. Anyone that knew him knew that. He may have been small in size, but his heart was definitely huge. He was loved by so very many people and will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Riley Bailey and Vivian Bailey; brothers, Gerald Ray Bailey and Roger Bailey; and brother-in-law, Tom “Sonny” Clemens.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Tommy Bailey II, Amanda Bailey Shackelford (Kevin), and Marcus Bailey;
grandchildren, Dylan Shackelford, Kaitlyn Shackelford Prather (David), AnnaLisa Bailey, Haiden Bailey, Alexia Bailey, Destiny Bailey, and Carsyn Bailey;
one sister, Carolyn Clemens of Corrigan, TX;
one fur grandbaby, Nala, who loved him lots and he loved her just as much;
numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will all cherish the wonderful memories that will forever fill their hearts.
Funeral services for Tommy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Gary Bankston officiating. Burial will follow in Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. The pallbearers will be Bob Kreyenbuhl, Tommy Bailey II, Marcus Bailey, Jimmy Moreland, Jamie Shackelford, and Steven Jett.
A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
