Obituary for Tommy "Bo" DuBois
Funeral service for Tommy “Bo” Lloyd DuBois will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverends Terry Ward and Morris Goins and Rodney Helton officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
A visitation for the family and friends of Mr. DuBois will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Antioch Baptist Church and will continue until the time of service on Monday.
Mr. DuBois was born on May 31, 1945, in Leesville, LA and passed away on October 10, 2018, in Shreveport, LA at the age of 73. He was born and raised in Leesville, and this was always his home even when he traveled working as a welder. Mr. DuBois enjoyed squirrel hunting, fishing, and especially raising his horses. Most of all, he loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and friends.
Mr. DuBois was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Eli “Blacky” DuBois and Mary Evelyn DuBois and his siblings Willard DuBois, Marabell DuBois-Lawrence, Bernard Wayne DuBois, Charles Maynard DuBois, Henderson Christopher “H.C.” DuBois, and Wyoma DuBois Sumler.
Left to cherish their memories of him are his wife of 23 years Tammy DuBois of Leesville, LA
Sons: Cody Wayne DuBois and Clayton Lloyd DuBois
Daughter: Daishia Nichole Chandler
Grandchildren: Shanna Thomas and husband Brandon, Chet Moseley and wife Jadeha, Shelby Nesom, Wayburn Bo “WayBo” Chandler, and Keaton Shuler
Great grandchildren: Jaden Thomas, Lane Thomas, Rhenn Paige, and Aubree Payge
and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody DuBois, Clayton DuBois, Chet Mosely, WayBo Chandler, Heath Chandler, Chris Schamerhorn, Brandon Thomas, and Robert Sumrall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Shannon and Toby Zahn.
