Obituary for Thomas Lee Suggs
Thomas "Tommy" L. Suggs, 59, of Leesville, LA was called home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2016, at 3:02 PM at his residence in Leesville, LA. He was born August 27, 1956, in Dyess, AR. Tommy was a long time resident of East Prairie, MO, but has spent his last 9 years in Vernon Parish with his wife, Jimmie Bogle Suggs, daughter, Autumn Golightly-Foster, and grandchildren, Cryslen and Christen Foster. Tommy was a family man and was very proud of his daughter and grandkids. They were his world. Tommy worked in farming his entire life. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and telling fish tales. One year he caught a Missouri catfish that was so big, it dropped the river"s water level when he pulled it onshore. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Thomas Suggs, mother, Hazel Lorretta Townsend-Suggs, brother, Thomas Earl Suggs, and half-brother, Earl Catt. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jimmie Bogle Suggs Daughter: Autumn Golightly-Foster Grandchildren: Cryslen and Christen Foster Sisters: Geneva Godwin of Dyess, Arkansas, Betty Taylor of MS, and Linda Bradberry of AR Like a daughter: Christopher and Amber Miller and children Gaige, Hailey, Alison and Shooter of East Prairie, Mo Like a brother: Troy, Todd, Christopher, Franky and Shawn Garner, Bill, Butch, and Mike Jackson all of East Prairie, MO Numerous nieces and nephews Word of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com.
