Thomas was born September 5, 1958, in Zwolle, Louisiana and passed away May 5, 2023, in DeQuincy, Louisiana at the age of 64. He was born to Henry and Nelda Faye McGlothlin and was a native Louisiana boy that grew up in Burr Ferry. Thomas loved his family, country, community, and friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding horses. He could be a real jokester. While in school, Thomas played allstar baseball and basketball. After graduation, he married his high school sweetheart, Oegi Lundstrom, then served in the US Army. Not long afterward, they had two children – Heather McGlothlin and T.J. McGlothlin. Thomas went on a journey of life with Bobbye Benard Pousson. They were together for many years and raised Britni Benard and Charles Pousson and remained friends. Later in life, Thomas met Dana Trammell and fell in love. After asking her on Facebook to marry him, they were married on September 19, 2017, and raised two stepchildren, John Trammell II and Lacy Olivarez. They spent many happy years together through thick and thin, and he loved her until his last breath. Before Thomas passed, he asked Dana to hold him, and he passed with her by his side. Thomas will be missed by his children, stepchildren that he helped raise, family members, and friends.
