Obituary for Terry Lynn Goodwin
Funeral services for Terry Lynn Goodwin will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church with Reverend Sherman Busby officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Lewis, Robert W. Maddox, P.J. Goodwin, Rob Goodwin, B.J. Goodwin, and Jimmy Goodwin. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Robinson and Elmer James. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday, September 12th from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
Terry was born January 23, 1970, in Leesville, Louisiana and passed away September 10, 2022, in Alexandria, Louisiana at the age of 52. He enjoyed attending church at Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Terry loved people and looked forward to watching rodeos. You could often find him outside tending his animals.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Donald Samuel Goodwin and brothers, Terry Wayne Goodwin and James Goodwin.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Lucy Goodwin;
brothers, Norman Goodwin and wife Mimi and Phillip Goodwin and wife Dicey;
nephews, Jimmy, B.J., Rob, and P.J. Goodwin;
nieces, Christina Puma and Kacie Gaspard;
great nieces and nephews, Brylan, Kaleb, Landon, Wyatt, Jonathan, Michael, Sheldon, Jesse, Kyle, Kayleb, Jayden, Cheyenne, Hailey, Victoria, and Izabella;
and numerous extended family members.
The Goodwin family extends their gratitude to The Summit and Guardian Hospice for their thoughtful care of Terry.
