Susan Louise Duck was born November 15, 1962, in Kane, Pennsylvania and passed away October 25, 2019 in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 57. She graduated in 1980 from Leesville High School. Susan enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and camping. She loved to rescue stray animals and take care of them.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, Keith A. Skelly and stepfather, Master Sergeant James O. Smith.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Sandra Smith of Leesville, LA,
brothers, David Smith and wife Jamie of Hornbeck, LA and Dirk Smith and wife Randa of Evans, LA,
sisters Tamy Cooper of Missouri; Shawna Farquher and husband Mark of Lampass, FL; and Stephanie Smith of Pennsylvania,
special friend, Steven Gainey,
her dogs, Brandie and Angel,
and a host of nephews and nieces.
Susan’s family will plan a private memorial at a later date.
