In Memoriam for Steven Anthony Roberts Steve Roberts, 55, passed from this life peacefully and with dignity at home on June 28, 2015, in Leesville, Louisiana after a courageous battle with cancer. Steven was born January 30, 1960, in Pineville, Louisiana to Howard and Doris Roberts. He married Virginia "Gina" Ann Roberts who preceded him in death in 2014. Steve was a humble man who loved his family and touched many lives along the way. He was a quiet and gentle person who enjoyed maintaining his residence at beautiful "Still Point Acre". Steve absolutely loved being outdoors! He was always willing to help others in any way he could. Steve excelled in school and was a 1978 graduate of Anacoco High School. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Roberts, Sr; three brothers: Howard Roberts, Jr. (1954-1992), Jeffery Roberts (1956-1978), Paul Nolan Roberts (1963-2006); nephew, Allan James Eubanks (1976-1993); and sister-in-law Elona Ilene Carpenter Roberts of Topeka, Kansas. Surviving family members at the time of his passing were his mother, Doris Roberts; brother, Gregory Roberts of Topeka, KS; sisters and brothers-in-law Anna and James Eubanks; Anita and Lee Jackson; Sherry Obanion & fiance Roland LeFevre. He also leaves to cherish his memory numerous special nieces and nephews who loved him. Special thanks to Dr. Teofilo Gozaine and his staff, caregivers at Vernon Home Health Services, and Leesville Hospice Services for compassionate support, care, and concern. Celebration of life services for Steven will be held at graveside at a later date. Steve will not be forgotten, but truly remembered as being a loving son, brother, husband, and uncle who is now, most importantly, a child of God and in his heavenly home.
