Shirley had a talent for creating beautiful flower arrangements and enjoyed competing in the APA pool league. She could often be seen riding a Harley with her husband Rick, and she was active in ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Towards Education) and the Toys for Tots Toy Drive.

Saint Francis, humble and gentle friend,
inspire us with your, and Shirley’s, example
of compassion and love for all of God's creatures.
Help us to remain steadfast in faith,
that when her time came, she was destined
to be reunited with her loved ones in heaven.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May the soul of the faithful departed
through the mercy of God rest in peace.
