Obituary for Sherman David Squyres
Funeral services for Sherman David Squyres will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at 2:00PM at the Flactor Baptist Church, Hicks, LA with Rev. Huey Haymon and Rev. Wayne Squyres officiating. Burial will follow in the Flactor Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Services. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at 5:00 PM until time of service at the Flactor Baptist Church. Sherman David Squyres was born in Leesville, LA to Herman David and Alva Jeane Squyres on October 14, 1951 and passed away at the age of 63 on January 19, 2015 at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria, LA. Sherman faced many challenges from birth. He loved for his mother to sing "Rock a Bye Baby" every night. He was her baby! If he didn"t like something he would say, "I"m many many mad." He loved to GO. He was preceded in death by his father: Herman David Squyres, brother: Herman Elmo Squyres, and sister-in-law: Cynthia Riggs Squyres. Survivors include his loving mother: Alva Jeane Squyres, of Hicks, LA, niece: Christina Renee Squyres of Bossier City, LA. A host of other family members and friends.
