Obituary for Sheila Twinnette Hagan
Sheila Twinnette Hagan was born April 7, 1956, in Leesville, LA and passed away August 9, 2021, in Bossier City, LA at the age of 65. She lived at home in Hicks, LA until the age of seven then resided in the Louisiana State Spastic School for Children in Alexandria, LA until 1967. Then Sheila resided in Port Arthur, TX at the Thomas Huyhen School. In 1974, she was admitted to the Northwestern Supports and Services Center in Bossier City, LA. Sheila was one of the first tenants to enter there and one of their oldest residents.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, William Junior Hagan and Letha Leola Hagan and grandparents, Raleigh Hagan, Emily Jeter Hagan, John Burt Smith, and Sylvia Morrison Smith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Gary Wayne Hagan and wife Pam of Hicks;
sisters, Sharon Annelle Brown and husband Johnny of Hineston, LA and Shirley Lorraine Manning and husband William of Converse, TX;
nieces and nephews, Gary Wayne & Carole Hagan Jr. and family, Todd Chaffins, Dakota McGee, Jackie Fowler and family, Traci Fowler and family, Sherri & Chance Lawrence and family, Melissa & Robby Alston and family, John & Autumn Manning and family, Michelle & David Cervera and family, and Katrina & Mark Hesselrode and family;
her special friend, Chad and loving caregiver, Sonja Jackson;
and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Gary Hagan Jr., Conner Hagan, Todd Chaffins, Jackie Fowler, Robby Alston, Tyler Lynch, and Alex Alston. Honorary pallbearers will be Aiden Alston, Noah Lawrence, Jack Fowler III, and Joey Fuller.
A private funeral service will be held for Sheila officiated by Reverends Chance Lawrence and Gary Hagan. Burial will follow in Hicks Pentecostal Church Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. The funeral service will be live streamed on Facebook under Jeane Funeral Service and will be available to view during and after the service.
