Obituary for Sharon Grace Ford Evans
Funeral services for Sharon Grace Ford Evans will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in the Toro Community with Reverends Bill Robertson and Kendall Price officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will start on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 4:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and again at 8:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Toro Community. Mrs. Evans was born May 31,1940 in Jena, LA. to LaVelle and Etta Windham Ford and passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014 in Alexandria at the age of 74 years 1 month and 21 days. She was a graduate of Tioga High School where she was a Three time All State basket ball player. On June 7, 1958, she married the love of her life and followed her husband around the world in the Uniited States Air Force and becoming a mother, and later a Pastors wife. She loved to sing, serve her Lord, to be with her family and especially love to fish. Preceding her in death were her parents and son; Leonard Evans Survivors are her husband of 57 years, Reverend Jimmie Evans of Leesville, LA. Sons: CW5 (Ret) Jimmie H. Evans Jr. and wife Rebecca of Leesville, LA. Rev. Edgar L. Evans and wife Alycia of Pickering, LA. Daughter: Felisha Evans of Leesville. LA Sister and Brother in law Dianne and M.J.
