Obituary for Sharon Francine Knapp Beltz
Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Knapp Beltz , of Leesville will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the First Chrisitan Church 401 N. 4th St Leesville with Pastor Bill Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Stephens Cemetery Leesville under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service of Leesville.
Visitation will be on Monday, beginning at 10:00 am until service time at 1;00 pm at First Christian Church of Leesville.
Mrs. Beltz was born February 10, 1944 in Leesville to Frank and Sibby Inez Yocum Knapp and passed peacefully in her sleep Thursday, Oct 26, 2017 in Leesville. She was 1962 graduate of Leesville High School where she met and married the Love of her life Ronald B. Beltz on May 30, 1961. She loved to crochet, garden, growing flowers and caring for her family. Being a military wife, she traveled the world with her husband and enjoyed listening to soft rock music, reading books, cooking, and visiting with family and friends. She always put the needs of her family ahead of herself, not letting her health issues get in the way of caring for others.
Her laughter and mischievous and playful ways always kept her family and friends on their toes. She enjoyed life, she loved her family and worshiped her Lord at First Christian of Leesville and East Leesville Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents and daughter; Debra Lynn Beltz.
Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Ronald B. Beltz of Leesville
Daughter and Son in law: Terry and Carlus Crews of Leesville
Son; Mike Beltz of Leesville
Brother and Sister in law; Jack L and Pat Knapp of Los Lunas, New Mexico
Grandchildren: Kelli Crews of Leesville, Cody Crews and wife Eliot of Leesville
Great Grandchild Rowan Crews of Pineville
Special friends: Sydney Sue Drew Smith, Kathleen and Carrie Moore and Wavelyn and Pat Murray.
