Obituary for Sharon Annette Monk Charrier
As we gather to reflect on the life of our beloved Sharon Monk Charrier, countless memories, smiles, and words come to mind. How lucky we are to have enjoyed her grace, good cooking, fun spirit, and selfless love in our lives!

Without a doubt, one of the clearest ways she showed her love was through homemade cooking for her family and friends. Nothing comes close to her dressing, greens, pies, and much more. Even something as simple as pizza was just better if she made it!

Sharon’s love expressed through cooking is but one example of her gifted ability to nurture others. She had a heart to care for and nurture life, from the smallest task of tending her flower garden to the grander task of growing and caring for her children and
grandchildren.

Her love extended to her community, seen especially in her decades of local business at Ray’s Grocery and her avid support of her alma mater, Hicks High School. To all she loved, in her family, her church, and her community, Sharon was a committed and consistent cheerleader
and friend.

Each of these examples of Sharon’s loving character served to demonstrate her ultimate love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The one who cared for so many through her selfless love is now in the eternal care of her Heavenly Father.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ervin and Lola Pearl Gill Monk, grandson, Bradley Mark Robinson, and brother, Howard Monk.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Sherman Ray Charrier
daughters, Karan Robinson (Bubba) of Hicks, LA, Donna Fletcher (Chuck) of Boyce, LA
son, Michael Charrier (Mandy ) of Hicks, LA
stepdaughter, Ilona Krause, of Germany
granddaughters, Brittney Glaser (Brady), Brooklyn Seeby (Chastin), Joline Krause, Shaley and Maci Charrier
grandsons, Brandon Fletcher, Robin Krause, and Ethan Charrier
great grandchildren, Jonah, Joel, and Lola Glaser
