Obituary for "Sambo" Leonard Curtis Robinson
Born February 27, 1928
Sambo met the love of his life in 1948. That was the beginning of a beautiful and long-lasting relationship. They had six kids through the years followed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He worked for many years in the pulp wood business and always had the most beautiful gardens. When he wasn’t with his family, he spent his time fishing and squirrel hunting. He never met a stranger, and he was loved and adored by so many. He will always be remembered by the smile on his face and his wonderful sense of humor. Not a single person that met him ever forgot him.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of 54 years, Eula Mae Bass Robinson, son, Randy Robinson, parents, John and Maggie Robinson, brothers, Junior Robinson, Troy Robinson,
Reed Robinson, sisters, Mavis Pickering, Evelyn Dousay, and Marcie Pickering.
He is survived by his children, Raymond Robinson (Joanna) of LaCamp, La, Barbara Evans (Curtis) of Leander, La, Donnis Herrington (Donnie) of LaCamp, La, Tina Nichols (David) of Elmer, La, Ricky Robinson (Mechelle) of Hineston, La.
