Obituary for Ruby Marie Hufstetler
Services for Mrs. Ruby Marie Leach Hufstetler will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:00 A.M at the First Baptist Church of Anacoco with Reverends Jerry Key and D.R. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Leach officiating under the guidance of Jeane�s Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will began on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 5:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church of Anacoco until 9:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M till service time on Saturday. Mrs. Hufstetler, 92 a resident of Anacoco was born on October 22, 1922 in Many, LA. to Ivy Monroe and Theo B. Newman Mitchell . She passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in a Many care center. She was a 1940 graduate of Many High School where she was a member of the 1st girls Lousiana state basketball championship team . She had worked as a housekeeping supervisor and a beautician but loved worshiping God at First Baptist Church Anacoco through music and being a mother, grandmother and friend. Preceding her in death was her Parents and husbands; Jake West, Fred Leach and Wesley Hufstetler. Son, Terry West and Great Grandson, Vernon Scroggins III. Survivors are; Son, Hollis Leach and wife Brenda of Shreverport, LA. Daughters: Brenda Gibson and husband Carroll of Rosepine, LA Sandra Habingreither and husband Charley of Dallas, TX Kathy Prichard and husband Gary of Anacoco, LA. Brothers: Ivy Mitchell and wife Phyllis of Vine Grove, Kty Delmer Mithchell and wife Rita of Many, LA 15 Grandchidren and 24 Great Grandchilren
