Obituary for Rosanna Lynn Brown
Funeral services for Rosanna Lynn Slaydon Hawkins Brown will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Sandy Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Sandy Guynn officiating. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Alan Slaydon, Robert Corbitt, Sherman Erwin, Robert Brown, Aaron Leslie, and Russel Hawkins. Honorary pallbearer will be Dustin Bise.
A visitation will be held at Sandy Hill Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Rosanna was born December 28, 1971, in Leesville, Louisiana and passed away December 29, 2022, in Anacoco, Louisiana at the age of 51. She was a positive person who enjoyed going rock hunting. Due to her health, she found it hard to attend church but regularly watched the services at Sandy Hill on Facebook. Rosanna was also a big fan of Joyce Myer’s ministry. Her dogs, Scooby, Scrappy, Grime, and Maggie, held a special place in her heart. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.
Rosanna was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Slaydon.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Allen Brown of Anacoco;
son, Dustin Bise (Cierra Abel) of Anacoco;
daughters, Nickayla Corbitt (Robert) and Chelsea Bise all of Anacoco;
grandchildren, Lillian Cox, Bentley Cryer, Elijah Bise, Leelan Bise, Isaac Bise, Michael Molleda, Robert Corbitt IV, Gabriel Edwards, and Luna Bergan;
mother, Linda Sue Slaydon of Anacoco;
brother, Bruce Alan Slaydon of Anacoco;
special cousins, Sherman Erwin and Dora Gosnell;
and extended family members and friends.
