Ronald "Ron" Simmons Funeral services for Ronald Wayne Simmons will be held on Tuesday, April 8. 2014 at Galilee Baptist Church n Evans at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Galilee Cemetery under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation will began at 6:00 PM Monday, April 7, 2014 at Galilee Baptist Church. Ronald 53, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at his residence in DeRidder, LA. He was a native of Texas and was a graduate of Colombia High School in West Colombia, TX. He had worked as a electrician for Texas-New Mexico Power and a Security Scanner for the Port Authority in Jamaica. He was a avid diver and love to fish, cook, spending time outdoors and being with his family. Preceding him in death was his father; Gayle Simmons, Grandparents; Tommy and Dora Craft and Frank and Wilma Simmons. Survivors are his wife: Ann Simmons of DeRidder, La Son and Daughter in law: Wayne and Casey Simon of Bay City, TX Daughters: Heidi Lynae Simmons of Bay City, TX; Kimberly Gooden of Kingston, Jamaica Mother: Dorothy "Dot" Craft Simmons of Evans, LA Brother and sister in law: George and Kim Simmons of West Columbia, TX Grandchildren: Case Simmons and Zoey Eli Gooden Many loving Aunts.
