Andy attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA and graduated in December of 1975 with a degree in general studies with an emphasis in psychology. He later worked on his master’s degree in psychology while working at Fort Polk in the drug and alcohol division. He valued his friendships with former classmates and his church family. Andy will be remembered for his love of hunting and spending time with his hunting buddies at the camp. If you started talking about deer hunting with him, he would have an hour conversation with you. His other love was his wife and family. Nothing made him happier than a family gathering and his love of taking his grandson hunting.
Pallbearers will be Chris Portz, Bodie Bridges, Brian Gore, D.R. Perkins, Nolan McCool, and his brother-in-law, Steven DeBellevue. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Bridges, Tommy Brooks, and Bobby Moss.
