Obituary for Ronald Duane Meistrell
Ronald “Ron” Duane Meistrell was born January 3, 1962 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away June 22, 2020 in Anacoco, Louisiana at the age of 58. For many years, he worked as an insulator in plants throughout the Lake Charles area. Then he worked as a mechanic, which was something that he truly enjoyed. He would help anyone who needed repairs, and people knew they could count on him. Ron was an avid fisherman and LSU fan. Once he met someone, he became their friend. He was a homebody who enjoyed cooking and sitting outside listening to classic country music. He recently lost his cocker spaniel, “Babe”. She was his sidekick, and they were always together.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Leo Andrew Meistrell.
