Obituary for Robert Paul Grafton
Robert Paul Grafton, age 51, of Anacoco, LA entered into the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ on June 7, 2022. He was born on August 27, 1970 to James Dale Grafton and Karen Marie Cardenas Grafton Lyons in DeQueen, AR.
Robert was a 1989 graduate of Hornbeck High School. He was a professional truck driver, but the job he was most proud of was being a father and husband. He married Tammy Williams in 1994 and together they became parents in 2009 when they adopted a 3 year old little boy named Lance.
During his life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, jujutsu, and projects around the house. All of which he did with his side kick, Lance. He, also, enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Robert was diagnosed with colon/liver cancer in 2016. He received countless treatments but relied on his faith in the Lord to see him through the journey. “Repent for you do not know what tomorrow holds” was etched in concrete at his home and are words and truth that Robert wanted to share to all.
Robert was preceded in death by grandparents, Fred Cardenas, Nettie V Cardenas, Stella Grafton, and Ralph Waldo Grafton, Sr., cousin, Michael Grafton, uncles, Ralph and Kenneth Grafton, aunt, Ellen Grafton, step-dad, Marvin Lyons, and step-mom, Mable Grafton.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years Tammy Grafton of Anacoco,
son, Lance Grafton of Anacoco,
dad, James Dale Grafton of Florien,
mom, Karen Cardenas Grafton Lyons of Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, 5:00 PM, at Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery, with Liz Thompson officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
