Obituary for Robert Lynn Kerry
Funeral services for Robert "Robbie" Lynn Kerry will be held on August 15, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. in The Church House on Highway 28 in Leesville, LA with Pastor Lorainne Smith and Pastor Saundra Hillman Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Flat Woods Cemetery under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on August 14th and will continue until the time of service. Robert "Robbie" Lynn Kerry was born in Pineville, LA to Dempsey and Gwendolyn Kerry on September 24, 1956 and passed away on August 12, 2016 at the age of 59. Mr. Kerry enjoyed the outdoors. Deer hunting and farming were two of his hobbies. He loved animals and raised many kinds " goats, pigs, chickens, and rabbits to name a few. Robbie worked for the DOTD for thirty years before retiring. He managed and was president of the Burnstown Hunting Club from 1995-2015 and then became an honorary member. Robbie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all. Preceding him in death are his parents.
