Obituary for Robert Lewis Molander
A graveside service for Robert Lewis Molander will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Evans Community Cemetery with Reverend George Jeane officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held at the cemetery on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Robert was born January 23, 1958 in Alabaster, AL and passed away February 11, 2021 in Evans, LA at the age of 63. He worked for many years as an insulator and sometimes traveled for his job. He was a member of the local Insulator Union 112. Robert enjoyed being outdoors making a tight line to catch catfish, hunting, and camping. He also enjoyed cooking and grilling.
Robert was preceded in death by his son, Michael Lewis Molander; parents, Frank Robert Molander and Doris Imogene Moore Molander; and brother, Wayne McCall.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years, Karen Miller Molander of Evans, LA,
sisters, Doris Coward and husband Tommy of Bronson, TX; Charlotte Gurney and husband Bill of Candia, NH; and Linda McMahon and husband James of Evans, LA,
and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Brittain, Levi Jarrell, William McCarthy, Stevie Eggleston, Wesley Smith, and Roy Jeane. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Gurney, Josh Gurney, Tommy Knippers, Rich Harmon, Tommy Fletcher, and Brent Wilson.
