Obituary for Robert Huey Morrison
On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, Robert Huey Morrison, husband, father, son, and brother, passed away at the age of 50 years. Robert will be forever remembered by his wife, DeeDee; their children, Morgan and Madison; and by his brother and sisters, Bonnie Johnson of Hineston, Donna (Gene) Eddlemon of Elmer, Daniel Jr. (Tammy) Morrison of Hineston, and Hollie (Christopher) Pace of Hineston. Robert will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Daniel Morrison Sr.; brother-in-law, Charles Johnson; and sister-in-law, Paula Smith.
Robert was known for his loving spirit and kind heart. Although he fought a long battle with kidney disease, he never lost his love of joking, laughing, and making others, especially his family, smile. His fondest memories were of times spent with his dad, Daniel, at the dirt track races. He called everybody 'baby', but his greatest loves were his daughters and his wife.
A graveside service will be celebrated in memory of Robert on Sunday, December 27, at 2:00 p.m., at Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, 444 Hwy. 463, Hineston, with Reverend Randy Harper and Brother Dennis Brown presiding under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service. A visitation will be held on Sunday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Long, Michael Long, C.J. Johnson, Jamie Howard, Howard Wells, and Jody Jamison.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Fresenius South Dialysis staff for all their care of Robert through the years.
