Obituary for Reginald Kimble Marsh, Jr.
Funeral services for Reginald Kimble Marsh Jr. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023, at New Willow Baptist Church in Leesville, Louisiana. The burial will follow in Leesville Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Reginald was born December 14, 1996, and transitioned May 10, 2023, at the age of 26. He was born in DeRidder, Louisiana but lived most of his life in Texas. Reginald was considered to be a dedicated athlete and enjoyed playing and watching sports – especially football.
He was a great student with accolades to back his hard work. He attended Arkansas Baptist College, where he played for the Buffaloes and made the Dean's list.
He had a loving heart and loved his sisters, niece and nephews dearly. He always did his best to be there and be a positive role model for them.
Reginald was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carolyn Ann Gatson, Albert Lee Gatson, Mary Alice Williams, and Levi Johnson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Rosalind Javon Gatson; his father, Reginald Kimble Marsh Sr. and wife Esmeralda; sisters, Re’Gene and Regina Marsh; niece and nephews, Ruby Odoms, Da’Keon Wooten, Micah Johle, and Khalil Davis; brother from another, Jerry Hartsfield; special cousins, JaKeyah Davis, JaDarious Spikes, Robert Hunt
and extended family members.
