Obituary for Reginald Clyde Parker
Reginald “Reggie” Clyde Parker of Kermit, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. He was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on August 19, 1976, to Rebecca Ann (Netherland) Parker Maloyed and the late Reginald Eddie Parker.
Reggie worked for Ratliff Electric in Wink, Texas for the last 12 years as a lineman in the oilfield. He was a hard worker and an amazing man in general. He loved his daughters with all of his heart. He always looked for the best in others and would do anything to help them out. He hated Texas and longed to be back in Louisiana where he could see the trees. He loved and missed fishing.
Reggie is survived by his parents, Rebecca “Becky” Maloyed and husband Don of Simpson, Louisiana. He is survived by his oldest daughter Courtney Conley of Huntsville, Alabama. He is also survived by his wife Chelsea Parker of Odessa and daughters-- Madison Grace Parker and bonus daughter Avery Renee Wilmes. He is survived by one sister-Bridget Berry and husband Allan of New Roads, Louisiana. He is also survived by one bonus sister-Joy Fletcher and husband James of Anacoco, Louisiana.
Reggie was preceded in death by his father, Reginald Eddie Parker. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents-Reverend Clyde and Virginia Netherland and Clyde and Fern Doris Parker.
Funeral services will be held in Simpson, Louisiana at Simpson Baptist Church on Thursday, December 27th at 11:00 A.M. under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana with Reverend Timmy Straight officiating.
