Obituary for Randell "Randy" Ray Brown
Graveside services for Randell “Randy” Ray Brown will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery at 2:00PM with Bro. Wayne Chance officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Randell Ray Brown was born on May 1, 1956 in Many, LA to Ray and Verna Faye Sneed Brown. He passed away on December 29, 2021, in Hornbeck, LA at the age of 65. Randy attended school at Hornbeck and later graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport, LA. He was a professional carpenter. He was very skilled and could use his talents to create many different things. He worked in Nebraska for some time and also in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area on some of the major buildings there now. Randy, also, worked as a taxicab driver. Randy enjoyed reading books, especially his bible, and was very knowledgeable on many different subjects. He loved people, children, and his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Years ago, he loved to ride his motorcycle but for the past several years, one would often times see him riding his bicycle around town.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray J. Brown, mother, Faye Sneed Brown Chance, and nephew, Steven Jett.
He is survived by his sister, Sharolette Brown Jett Henson, of Hornbeck, LA,
niece, April Jett Volpe of Hornbeck,
great nieces, Emily Volpe of Hornbeck and Kristin Jett of Pineville, and extended family.
