Obituary for Premjit Singh Jaiswal
Premjit Singh Jaiswal, 77, a disabled veteran of 26 years, peacefully passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, in his sleep at DeRidder Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. He was born in New Delhi, India.
Premjit was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children, Margarita and husband Jason and Roxanna; grandchildren, Layla Buckner, Malayna Nabors, and Darrion Nabors; great-granddaughter, Havana Pinchon; brothers, Manharjit Singh Jaiswal & wife Betty and their child and Paramjit Singh Jaiswal & wife Harjit Kaur Jaiswal and their children; sister, Gursharan Kaur Kareer and husband Harbhajan Singh Kareer and their children; sister-in-law, Adarsh Kaur Jaiswal and her children; and a host of extended family members.
Premijit was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Maria Jaiswal; father, Pritam Singh Jaiswal; mother, Harbhajan Kaur Jaiswal; and brother, Manoharjit Singh Jaiswal.
The family expresses their appreciation to members of the DeRidder Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, caregivers and staff, and the many physicians and nurses who participated in his care. A visitation will be held at Jeane's Funeral Service on Monday, February 21, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
