Obituary for Porter Miles Dowden
A graveside service for Porter Miles Dowden will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021, in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, 2202 Military Hwy. Pineville, LA, with Reverends Louis Magee and Terry Ward officiating under the direction of Jeane’s Funeral Service.
Porter was born December 8, 2017, and passed away June 20, 2021. He was a well-loved, special little boy with a mischievous, loving nature. He was very personable, loved people, and never met a stranger. Being outside was one of his favorite things to do, especially riding on the tractor with his daddy. Like most little boys, Porter played with cars and trucks, and he would often take some of his cars to bed with him at night. If you were around him for very long, you would get one of his heart-felt hugs or wet kisses. Porter will forever be remembered by everyone who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Raleigh & Betty Faye Juneau, T.C. & Clytie Robinson Terrell, Huey Pierce Dowden, and Katie Ruth Dowden.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Eric Dowden;
mother and stepfather, Kristy and Scott Fuller;
brothers and sisters, Preston Dowden, Harper Dowden, Paxton Dowden, Karoline Fuller, and Kayleigh Fuller;
grandparents, Kevin & Patricia Gates, Steve & Candace Dowden, and Billy & Lisa Fuller;
uncles, Wayne “Bud” Dowden and Sean Dowden and wife Jessica;
and a host of extended family.
