Funeral services for Phillip K. "PK" Lewis will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015, 10:00 AM at LaCamp Pentecostal Church, LaCamp, LA with Rev. Louis Magee and Rev. Mark Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the LaCamp Pentecostal Church Cemetery under the direction of Jeane"s Funeral Service of Leesville, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 4:00 PM " 10:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church fellowship hall in Leesville, LA. Mr. PK was born on September 13, 1930, in Alexandria, LA and passed away on March 17, 2015 at his home. He was a member of the First UPC in Leesville. He served in the US Navy and was in the Korean war. For 6 years he was a Vernon Parish school board member. He helped establish the East Central Vernon Water System. He enjoyed raising cattle, and he logged for many years. He retired from Vernon Parish Sheriff"s Office. He enjoyed his children and grandchildren. Family time was very important! He was preceded in death by his parents, Client and Flora Lewis and brothers, Dallas and Earl Lewis. Mr. PK is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Glenda Lewis. Sons: Phillip Lewis II (Erica), Ronnie Lewis, Lawanye Self (Sissy), Randy Lewis (Madelyn), and Laron Self (Vanessa) Daughters: Phillnet Phillips, Pamela Smith (Eddie), Lavenda Barbour, and Penny Johnson (Jack) 17 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren Words of comfort may be extended to the family at www.jeanesfs.com.
