Obituary for Peggy Culpepper
Services for Mrs. Peggy Thompson Culpepper will be held on Monday, January 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Big Hammock Baptist Church in Leander,La with Reverends Bill Blackmon and Terry Sayers officiating. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery in Longstreet, La at 3:00 p.m. under the care of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville. Visitation for friends in Leesville will began on Sunday, January 12, 2014 in the Chapel of Jeane's Funeral Service of Leesville and then will move to Big Hammock Baptist Church in Leander at 5:00 p.m.until 10:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m.until service time. Mrs. Culpepper 78 passed away on Friday January 10, 2014 in Leesville after a lengthy illness. She was born September 24, 1935 in Longstreet, LA. She was a homemaker and had worked as a Printer until her retirement. Preceding her in death was her husband Roy E. Culpepper, Parents; Shelly Roy and Viola McQuiston Thompson, Two Sisters: Della Youngblood and Johnnie Sayers, One Brother: Ernest Thompson. Survivors are: Three Daughters and Sons in law: Kathy and Robert Koone of Winnfield, LA. Martha and Giles Welch of LaCamp, LA Angela and Charles Berry of Spurger, TX One Son: Roy B. Culpepper of Spurger, TX Twelve grandchildren. Ten great grandchildren and Five great great grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
