Mr. Newlin was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Newlin, his parents, Joseph Leonard Newlin and Ruth June Newlin, and four brothers, Melvin E. Newlin, Charles W. Newlin, Joseph F. Newlin, and Richard B. Newlin.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Rebecca Newman of Leeville, LA
